Bologna Mineral Service

Bologna Mineral Service is the society organising the Bologna Mineral Show and all initiatives connected to it, from the promotion on other shows, up to the diffusion of the mineralogical culture in institutions and schools.

The society mission is that of extending the knowledge of everything around the mineralogical world: from the necessary notions for the finding and recognizing of a mineral, to the specific techniques of polishing and displaying a mineral, up to the knowledge of the territory and its valorisation.

Behind this passion there is a series of elements and professionalism, that make mineralogy a real open science, in constant exchange with other knowledge sectors, from metallurgy to museum research, from geography to speleology, up to gemmology.

The goal of Bologna Mineral Service is indeed that of diffusing this sum of knowledge, besides the positive values of physical activity, of life in the open air and of the connection between single persons.
