2nd FOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

In the occasion of the past edition of the Bologna Mineral Show, professional people, keens and neophytes have partecipated to the 1st photography competition promoted by the Organization and the Rivista Mineralogica Italiana, main organ of information about this theme.
Thanks to a great demand, the competition will aslo develop for the 2010 edition, living the opportunity to all the interested people to send photos of minerals or fossils. The best clicks will be selected by a jury of experts; they will be exposed to the public during the show market and they will also receive a special motion during the final awarding dedicated to them. The competition have been realized in collaboration with FIAF (Federazione Italiana Associazioni Fotografiche) for the involvement of all italian photographic associations and their affiliates.

NATIONAL ARTISTIC COMPETITION

After the great success of the first drawing competition, which have picked a lot of adhesions from the scholastic district of Bologna and its province, the Organization of Bologna Mineral Show have decided to continue and to widen the review thought for approaching the smallest to the world of the paleontology and the mineralogy. For its 41st edition, the kermesse has decided to transform te drawing competition in a real artistic competition and also to extend the share invitation to the elementary and middle schools of all Italy.
Impassioned of today and collectors of tomorrow, in fact the boys will be able to express their whole creativeness through elaborate on the theme 'Mineral and fossils' that, once selected, they will be exposed during the 41st edition of the Bologna Mineral Show and admired by all the visitors of the show market.
The students will not only have the possibility to send draws, but also plastic elaborates as collage, sketches in relief with appliques in fabric, paillettes, beads, etc and small sculptures realized with every type of supple material. Besides, the competitors and the institute chosen by the jury will receive a special recognition during the demonstration during a ceremony of awarding dedicated to them.
